FREE! Driftwood ‘Bollywood LUT Pack vol.1’ for LUMIX S Series Cameras

I love India and I love the colour look and drama of many Bollywood movies. Here’s a few fab’s I’ve been referencing whilst designing these Luts  – and volume 2 is coming soon!

Some favs:-

Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India, 3 idiots, Newton, Pk. Black, Naacho Naacho, Dear Zindagi, Highway, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, Kahaani, My Name is Khan, Ishqiya, Gangaajal, Devdas, Sholay – watch this epic dance off from Sholay in the link https://youtu.be/2cyzCReoNgU

…plus many more!

Ive been inspired with these movies to produce similar looking LUT grades for you guys to use and play with as part of your colour grading tree.

The zip file below contains a selection of FREE V-Log LUTs graded with a Bollywood influence – brighter warmer / yellow look and some a little more held back on the colour. Like many of you I have a healthy regard for the Indian moviemaking scene and love the vibrancy and colours that so often spring out!

As usual please remember to setup your NLE settings for V Log editing & grading (there are example Davinci settings over on my other LUT pages) then insert exposure/saturation/contrast nodes before this LUT (leave it on its own node). In FCPX place the LUT on an adjustment layer so that any extra color grading and adjustments can be made earlier in the order. Similarly, these LUTs will work in Premiere Pro using V-Log timeline settings.

The Zip file contains 12 LUTs in 65 size for NLEs. 33 size for monitors and 17 size .vlt LUTs for in-camera use under V-Log View Assist/ Real Time LUT.

There’s many more LUTs from this series to come (volume 2 I’m working on atm)  so stay tuned and enjoy these 12 LUTs in volume 1 for FREE.
